2015 Renewables RFP
On December 22, 2015, PSEG Long Island, as agent of and acting on behalf of LIPA, issued an RFP (“2015 Renewables RFP”) for the interconnection of varied renewable energy resources with a nameplate capacity of 1 MW or larger. Resources were required to inject power directly to the Zone K (Long Island) system or be connected by a new transmission line dedicated to the delivery of power to Zone K. Successful bidders would enter a 20-year PPA with LIPA.
The proposal submittal period for this procurement ended on June 22, 2016.
