2015 South Fork RFP
On June 24, 2015, PSEG Long Island, as agent of and acting on behalf of LIPA, issued an RFP (“2015 South Fork RFP” or “2015 SF RFP”) to acquire up to 169 MW of Load Reduction and/or Power Production resources to meet the expected peak load requirements until at least 2022 in the South Fork, and until 2030 in the east of Buell subarea in Long Island. Successful bidders of Power Production resources would enter a 20-year PPA with LIPA. Successful bidders of Load Reduction resources would enter a 20-year Energy Service Agreement (“ESA”) with PSEG Long Island.
