PSEG Long Island Hosts Inaugural ‘Business First’ Conference

Seminar geared to business owners, chambers of commerce and government leaders brings out dozens of attendees

(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Oct. 10, 2024) In an effort to educate the community about PSEG Long Island’s programs, grants and rebates for business owners, the company recently held its inaugural Business First workshop. Nearly 100 people in attendance learned how PSEG Long Island can help them save energy and money.

Business owners and representatives from local chambers of commerce, including the African American and Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, Nassau and Suffolk Chambers of Commerce and several town chambers, along with Vision Long Island, attended the event to learn about saving money and energy through PSEG Long Island programs. The workshop offered information on PSEG Long Island’s free energy assessments, economic development grant programs and bill credits, energy efficiency rebates and the benefits of an electric vehicle (EV) fleet and installing commercial EV chargers – all ways to help small businesses lower their energy use, put money back into their pockets, boost their bottom lines, and benefit their local economies.

Small businesses are the backbone of Long Island. PSEG Long Island supports small business owners because their success supports economic activity, local employment, and reinvestment in communities, which create a positive cycle of growth and prosperity.

This is the first in a series of PSEG Long Island Business First events. The next event will be held in March 2025. For more information on PSEG Long Island’s programs for businesses, visit psegliny.com/BusinessFirst. To view additional photos of the event, click here: flic.kr/s/aHBqjBKJCM.
