PSEG Long Island Recognizes Its Energy Efficiency Contractor Award Winners

Customers completing projects earned more than $50 million last year through PSEG Long Island’s rebates and incentives

(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – March 14, 2025) PSEG Long Island is recognizing local contractors – winners of its Energy Efficiency Programs Contractor Awards. The awards were given out earlier this year at the company’s Contractor Breakfast and Awards event, held annually to recognize PSEG Long Island’s energy efficiency partners for helping customers make improvements to their homes and businesses to save money and energy.

The 18 award recipients are contractors working in the energy efficiency, heating and cooling, and lighting industries. Along with saving energy and helping the environment, their projects helped customers save a collective $50.5 million last year. Nearly 11,000 residential customers received $28 million in PSEG Long Island rebates and incentives — providing more than 18 million kilowatt hours (kWh) in annual energy savings — and 1,900 commercial customers received more than $22 million in rebates and incentives, providing more than 74 million kWh in annual energy savings.

“Congratulations to our award-winning energy contractor partners and thank you to all of the contractors who helped our residential and commercial customers save more than $50 million last year through their improvement projects. By focusing on energy savings and utilizing PSEG Long Island’s incentive programs and rebates, they are helping to reduce the load on the electric grid and helping customers save energy for the future.
