Lou DeBrino
Vice President, Customer Operations
Lou DeBrino was named Vice President, Customer Operations in August 2022. In this role, Mr. DeBrino is responsible for customer satisfaction; marketing and marketing strategy; customer contact; meter-to-cash functions; and solar and energy efficiency programs.
Mr. DeBrino has more than 30 years of diverse utility experience, including leadership and management positions of increasing responsibilities within the organization. Most recently, he served as director of Meter Services, where he oversaw all meter related functions, including the engineering, test, installation and repair of electric meters on Long Island and the Rockaways. He was also responsible for personnel tasked with performing all meter reading, field collections and field investigation activities, and he led the implementation of PSEG Long Island’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project, where approximately 1.1 million advanced meters with remote operational functionality were installed in homes and businesses across Long Island and the Rockaways.
Mr. DeBrino is past chair of the North Atlantic Mutual Assistance Group (NAMAG) and past chair of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Distribution Executive Committee. He holds an MBA, as well as a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
