At PSEG Long Island, our policy is to encourage the development of minority, women, and service-disabled veteran owned businesses consistent with established corporate goals. We are committed to maintaining strong, active relationships with a diverse supply base in an effort to support the communities we serve. In accordance with New York State law, PSEG Long Island has implemented the following procedures:
- Established goals of 30% participation for New York State certified MWBEs (Article 15-A, Executive Law) and 6% participation for New York State certified SDVOBs (Veterans’ Services Law Article 3)
- Employ and document good faith efforts in the procurement process
- Require prime vendors to submit utilization plans and EEO policies for achieving MWBE and SDVOB goals
- Require prime vendors to submit periodic compliance reports
