The Household Assistance Program provides a bill credit on every electric bill for customers who receive benefits from certain non-utility financial assistance programs.
We’re pleased to let you know that all current Household Assistance Program customers will receive one automatic renewal this year. At the end of your current program enrollment, we will renew it for an additional 18 months and notify you at that time. At the end of the new 18 month enrollment period, you will need to reapply.

How to save $45 per month
Eligible residential customers can receive a monthly discount for instant savings on every bill. You may qualify for a discount if you are currently enrolled in at least one of the following income-based programs:
- Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
- Medicaid (Not Medicare)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Child Health Plus
- Federal Lifeline Program
- Federal Public Housing Assistance
- Supplemental Security Income - SSI (Social Security not accepted)
- Temporary Assistance - Family Assistance (FA) | Safety Net Assistance (SNA)
- Veterans Disability Pension - Non-Service Connected Disability
- Veterans Survivors Benefit - Must Meet Income Guidelines
