Massapequa Accountant Recognized by PSEG Long Island for ‘Bean Counters’ Day’

(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – June 8, 2021) – PSEG Long Island recently acknowledged Anthony Badagliacca of Massapequa and its entire Accounting team in celebration of ‘Bean Counters’ Day,’ a recognition day for accountants which occurs the day after Tax Day.

Badagliacca has been a lead accountant in the Plant Accounting department at PSEG Long Island for the past two years, where his job duties include keeping inventory of all company assets, such as utility poles, transformers and trucks. He has been working from home since the pandemic began last year.

“One of the things I love most about working at PSEG Long Island is my co-workers,” Badagliacca shared, adding, “We are an energetic team that loves to joke and have fun, while always getting the job done.”

As a member of the Massapequa community, Badagliacca coaches Little League and flag football teams. He also volunteers with the Nassau Shores Civic Association where he cares for, beautifies, maintains and cleans one of the small islands that border his south shore neighborhood.
Founded in 2015 by a Connecticut accountant, Bean Counters’ Day honors accountants for their hard work throughout the year and especially during tax season.
