Melville RUD Cable Replacement Project
Reliability Projects
Project Specifics
This project was completed in December 2017
PSEG Long Island will install new underground primary cable lines and transformers in your community. The project will utilize horizontal directional drilling to minimize the need to trench or otherwise disturb the roadway. Temporary drill pits will be installed in some areas and limited trenching will be required to tie-in the new cable to existing equipment.
