Project Overview
The Syosset Underground C&R Reliability Project improves reliability and meets the growing needs of businesses and residents in the Town of Oyster Bay. We worked closely with local officials on this project, keeping them informed and worked to minimize potential disruptions.
Project Description and Route
Work began in August 2016 and was completed in June 2017. PSEG Long Island installed a new underground electric distribution feeder in Syosset and Woodbury.
Project Route
The work took place on the following streets in Syosset and Woodbury:
- Woodbury Road between Syosset-Woodbury Road and Winthrop Court
- South Woods Road between Syosset-Woodbury Road and Searington Drive
